Tuan Nguyen Interview Contest

This is part one of a two part post. The second part will be posted tomorrow. Today I am just writing to let you know about a contest we will be running starting tomorrow, and about a discount code that can be used to save you some money on getting custom banners created for your site. If I tried to cram all this information, along with the interview into one post, no one would read the entire thing, so I had to break it up.

Tomorrow’s post is going to be our second “Spotlight Interview”. This time we will be interviewing Tuan Nguyen of 20DollarBanners fame. It is a really good interview, so you definitely do not want to miss it. Tuan has been making money online for many years now and you will learn how he got started and some of the secrets to his success, as well as some of his future plans.

When I asked Tuan if he would do the interview, I also asked him if he might be able to throw in a prize that we could give away to one of our readers, maybe a banner or something. To my amazement, not only did Tuan say “YES”, he went way above and beyond my expectations. He actually gave us a complete banner “Starter Package” ($109 value) to give away, which includes the following size custom banners…

1 – 125X125
1 – 120X600
1 – ANY SIZE

I totally wish I could enter this contest, as I would love to win that prize package. If you haven’t seen his work, make sure and visit his site, as he does an amazing job and his prices are awesome! I think everyone that owns an online business should consider having some banners created for their site. I am actually going to have Tuan design some banners for MakingMoneyOnline.com. We are just trying to decide exactly what we want.

How does this contest work? It is going to be a simple raffle where we pull the winner’s name out of a hat. I think we will even video tape the official drawing and find a sexy model to pull the name out of the hat to add a little excitement to the event.

Here is what you need to do to earn raffle tickets. The more actions that you take from the list below, the more raffle entries you can earn.

You need to leave a comment on tomorrow’s Spotlight Interview post of Tuan Nguyen, which will earn you one entry in the drawing. This is the only mandatory thing you need to do to be entered in the contest. Please leave a comment that shows you actually read the Interview and hopefully have visited his site. Just saying “Great Interview” really doesn’t prove that you actually did either of those things. (1 Entry)

That’s it. To enter the contest all you HAVE TO DO IS LEAVE A COMMENT ON TOMORROW’S INTERVIEW, and if you would like to earn some extra entries, you can do any of the actions above. So if you do all the actions mentioned above you would earn a total of 12 entries, which is the maximum available per person. Doing any of the actions more than once does not earn you any more entries, but if you would like to, we wouldn’t mind it

Contest Ending Date: This is important as well. The contest is going to last 1 week, so it will end on Wednesday, September 3rd at 11:59 PM (PST), so you have that long to complete any of the actions you would like to do. Any actions completed after that time will not count as an entry. IMPORTANT: You also need to make sure and let us know all the actions you took in the comment section of this post. We will announce the winner on Monday, September 7^th. So that is everything I believe you should know about the contest. If you have any questions… ask us in the comment section below.

As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, I also have a coupon code to save you some money. Not only did Tuan give us a great Prize Package to give away… he also is offering a 10% discount to any of our readers on individual banner creations. Unfortunately, you cannot use the coupon code for banner packages, as those are already deeply discounted, but if you want to get one, two, or three custom banners created… you can use this code to save yourself 10% on your order. Just use the code “mmodotcom” when you are checking out and the discount will be applied.

  Yes… if you look at his portfolio it is amazing all the great banners he has created over the years. He is even much better now, as he has not updated his portfolio for a few years. Definitely one of the best banner designers around.

      As I mentioned in the rules, everyone needs to list what actions they took in the comments section of this post. Hopefully people will do it all in one comment after they are done completing all the actions they plan to take. I know some won’t do it that way… but we will figure it out.
      
      Then between next Wednesday and Monday we will go through and verify all the entries and create a raffle ticket for each point earned. Then on probably Sunday we will pull a name out of a hat and post the video and results on Monday.

  It must have been broken since we started. I was wondering why no one was subscribing to the RSS feed by email. I had people subscribe to our newsletter and to the normal RSS feed… but not to the RSS Feed by email list. I wonder how many subscribers we missed out on in the last couple of months? Awesome idea Doug! I’ve seen Tuan’s site before, and considered buying a banner package. Now, I might not have to. I’ll just enter the contest! Whoever wins though, is going to get a heck of a prize.
