That’s a very good post there. It took me two years to start making money online (or enough of it to call it “a salary”). It is a lot of hard work, but pays off in the long run. IMO, it’s also an addiction – you have to dig this or you won’t last.

I’ve lost my fair share in the stock market, but rather than put all my resources into an internet venture I just kept plugging away at my business and changed my investment strategy. What you did took real balls and I’m glad it worked out for you.

As for the blogging and money to be made I agree as long as people realize that there is a lot of hard work involved.

Dick nice post, I always had one blog but recently I started with 3 new domains and more over trying to build up a source of recurring income. because affiliate and services are something which will not last for ever, but adsense and direct advertising is something which will pay the most in long term

Yea, it seems that there are really two main ways to make money blogging, either creating one big authority site or having a large network of smaller sites. Either way both actually require a ton of work and I don’t think it’s as passive income as most people would think.
