I agree that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, unless of course you’re a copyright lawyer in which case it may constitute a theft of intellectual property(DMCA)for which you may be sued by the rightful owner. Well, theoretically, anyways.

In real life, not very many people bother to sue anyone for online infringement, due mostly to legal costs and questions of jurisdiction. Major companies with well known brand names are the exception, but even then they have to notify you of an infringement and give you the chance to remove the offending materials first.

Beg, borrow, or steal the best content you can.

I like the sound of the idea file Doug, but I am a little too lazy to actually write em down. I reckon that everyone inadvertantly borrows ideas from blogs that they visit, whether it’s the style, layout or even the plugins that they’ve used. The trick is to change and adapt the ideas to make them your own.

I normally go and visit a couple of sites and also get ideas. I always look at their source code of the page and figure out how they did it. They either used a plugin or hard coded it. Some of my best ideas have been like that. I also like trying new things out and not afraid of doing so.

In trying many things out, I have learned more and more about HTML/PHP/CSS.

so this is about themes and plugin.. if there is any themes that fit for me,.. atahualpa is the best. i am using this themes for five month and just great. have more than 200+ option. you can change the ” shape ” of your theme to any ” shape ” you want

It’s nature; being inspired by other sources and taking a little bit of something from somewhere or someone, so that we can get a greater understanding of what we need, before putting our own ideas into practice. Every little thing helps, create the bigger picture. It’s like we are all working from the same pot, and mingling inbetween with different spuds.
